In this tutorial you will learn how to make a 3D Text Logo using Photoshop.

OK! Make a new document about 800x200. After that ad a dark background. I used #292929

Now using the font that you like type your text. In my case xTutorials. The color I used is #2779b8

Now go to Layer->Rasterize->Type. After that go to Edit->Transform->Distort and play with the text. I made something like this:

Now Select your text layer. Hold ALT and pres the right key several times. This will duplicate the layer and move it one pixel to the right. This is what I received so far.

You should have something very similar. Don't wory if your text is really hard to read. We will fix that.

Now select all the text layer except the last one(the original layer, not the copied ones) and merge them. Now move your original layer on top of the copied layer. This should be the layer order.

To the Copy layer ad a new color so you can clearly see the difference. To do that go to Blending Options->Color Overlay. I used #4f4f4f The result is this:

We are almost done. Now let's apply some effects to the logo.

Select the first layer (the blue text) and go to Blending Options. Use these settings:

The result so far is this:

Now select the other layer (the perspective layer) and ad this gradient to it:

After that an inner glow with these settings looks good:

For more effect you can ad a Carbon Pattern to the first layer, but this is up to you. Anyway, here are the results (with and without the pattern):
